Curtain Rod Installation Guide
Follow these simple steps to install your curtain rod and hang your curtains securely.
Before You Begin
Prepare a tape measure, pencil, level, drill, screwdriver, and fasteners suitable for your wall type. Check that all rod sections, brackets, and screws are ready.
Choose a rod length that fits your window and leaves enough space on both sides for the curtains to open. Follow your rod’s instructions for mounting hardware, support requirements, and maximum load.
01. Measure & Mark
Measure the window width and decide where to position the rod. Mark the bracket locations at your preferred height, allowing space on both sides of the window.
Use a level to make sure the marks are aligned. If your rod requires a center support, mark its position as well.

02. Secure the Brackets
Hold each bracket against the wall and mark the screw holes. Drill the holes and install suitable wall anchors where needed.
Fasten the brackets securely using the appropriate screws. Check that each bracket is level and firmly attached.

03. Assemble the Rod
Connect the rod sections according to the assembly instructions. If your rod uses threaded sections, screw them together until snug.
Keep the adjustable section accessible so you can set the final length.

04. Hang Curtains & Adjust the Length
For back tab, rod pocket, or grommet curtains, slide the curtain panels onto the rod before securing both ends. If you use curtain rings, add the rings first.
Extend the telescoping section to fit the distance between the brackets, keeping the minimum overlap required by the manufacturer. Attach the rod ends to the brackets as instructed.

05. Tighten & Check
Tighten the bracket locking screws to hold the rod in place. Check that all connections are secure and the rod is level.
Spread the curtains evenly, then gently open and close them to check that everything moves smoothly.
